Firenzuola

The town of Firenzuola is placed inside of the Santerno river basin, near the border with the region Emilia Romagna, enclosed in the south from Tosco-Romagnolo, the Futa Pass to Mount Paganino. The area of the Mugello fin from the Middle Ages, this honor was that of Ubaldini. They had so much power that a section of chain Apennine was called "Alpes Ubaldinorum", at least until the beginning of the fourteenth century. Later taken with the power of Florentines, this stretch dell'Appennino was called Alpe Fiorentina.
